Lynn Cherenzia Goodwin’s artistic journey began in childhood, with art always playing a role in her life in one way or another. Over the years, she explored various mediums and creative processes, but it wasn’t until her late 40s that she found her true artistic calling in woodworking. Lynn discovered the joy of transforming pieces of wood—often destined for the fire pit—into beautiful, and sometimes functional, works of art.
After living in St. Petersburg, Florida, for 35 years and dedicating 25 years of service to the City of St. Petersburg, Lynn now resides in Greenville, South Carolina. Her passion for woodworking continues to grow, with each piece reflecting her commitment to giving new life to materials that might otherwise be discarded. Through her work, Lynn demonstrates the potential for beauty in the unexpected, merging artistry and craftsmanship in every creation.
