Beth Ireland is an accomplished woodworker, sculptor, and educator with an extensive career spanning over four decades. She earned her undergraduate degree from the State University College at Buffalo and went on to receive an MFA in sculpture from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

Since 1983, she has run her successful business, Beth Ireland Woodworking, specializing in architectural and artistic woodturning and carving.
Beth’s work goes beyond traditional woodworking, as she has been involved in two traveling art/craft projects: Turning Around America and the Sanctuary Trailer Project, both aimed at bringing the art and craft of woodworking to a wider audience. Her excellence in the field has been recognized with three prestigious Windgate Fellowships, underscoring her significant contributions to the craft.
In addition to running her business, Beth shares her expertise by teaching the Professional Woodturning Intensive, a two-month course at The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship. She is also a prolific writer, regularly contributing articles to professional woodworking journals.
Beth Ireland lives and works in Saint Petersburg, Florida, where she continues to inspire others through her craftsmanship and dedication to the art of woodworking.
