Teresa Mandala is an artist whose work captures the essence of the divine feminine through a vibrant interplay of color, visual movement, and unique textures. Growing up in Rockford, Illinois, Teresa later moved to Kansas City, where she earned a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute.
Currently based in St. Petersburg, Florida, she juggles multiple roles, running a virtual advertising studio, working as an active studio artist, and teaching art. Mandala primarily works with porcelain but frequently experiments with a wide array of materials, including wood, metal, glass, watercolor, acrylic, and oil paints, always finding new and unconventional ways to express complex ideas.
Her themes and concepts are deeply inspired by her personal experiences, weaving together stories of struggle, triumph, and failure to reveal universal truths. Teresa's ability to connect the personal and universal through her work has made her a distinctive voice in the world of contemporary art.
