The Narratives of Addiction
Experience theatrical performances that explore addiction and provide a powerful platform for fostering understanding and healing. Scenes that portray the raw struggles of those battling addiction in a compassionate and truthful manner with performances that work to dismantle the stigma often associated with substance abuse. Such vignettes encourage empathy, allowing audiences to see addiction as a complex issue rather than a moral failing. In shifting the focus from blame to support, these scenes open doors to conversations about recovery, mental health, and community.

Lisa Acebo
Producer of Faces of Addiction Performances
Tampa native Lisa Acebo began acting at the ripe young age of 50. After owning a dance studio in Tampa for 20 years, she decided to try her hand at acting and hasn't looked back since. Always eager to be on set, Lisa stays busy with Indie and student projects as well as commercial work and recently became SAG eligible after landing a role in The Throwback. Lisa is also becoming very proficient behind the camera as a 1st Assistant Director. Dance and fitness are still important parts of Lisa’s life as she continues to teach in the Tampa Bay area.
Dayanara Romero
My name is Jacqueline Dayanara Quezada Romero and I was born and raised in Los Angeles California my parents from Mexico and El Salvador I am Indian Cherokee, I became a model at age 13 then went into other career avenues, I moved to Florida 24 yrs ago where in the last 7 yrs. I decided to open my business BEAUTIFUL INTERNATIONAL WOMEN LLC. Runway Productions and modeling industry and Director and coordinator of Glamour Society Models of Tampa Bay and surrounding area as well Co-Owner with my fiance Enden Of DIVINE'UMOJA FASHION Designers, I am a wardrobe stylist and actress in the film industry, A 19 year ovarian cancer survivor and 2x domestic violence survivor as well an advocate of domestic violence. I AM A LEGACY.
Gina Sankoe
Gina Sankoe is an emerging talent in the world of film and television, quickly establishing herself as a promising actress to watch. After honing her craft under the guidance of top industry professionals like Amy Lyndon, known for the Lyndon Technique, Gina embarked on her journey to build a successful career in acting. Her breakthrough came when she booked two TV movies of the week and secured four major commercial roles in six months. These early successes solidified her passion and commitment to acting, and she realized that this was her true calling. With a dedication to her craft and a drive to continue growing in the field, Gina Sankoe is on a promising path, with her sights set on further success in both television and film.
Stephanie Jackson

Born Stephanie Jackson, GeminiFox refers to herself as the love child of Dr. Seuss and Maya Angelou. Originally from the Caribbean Island of Saint Lucia, she currently resides in Tampa Florida. Using her work as a tool that unites others through common experiences, GeminiFox is a keen welder of raw emotion. She speaks in parables and sea water runs through her veins. She says that her goal as an artist is to be a voice for the voiceless, believing that poetry can be found in everything. She uses her poems to foster healing, understanding and create connections. She is the host/curator of Painting with Word (a monthly poetry open mic), a finalist for Best Spoken Word Artist (Best of the Bay 2023) and an active member of the Growhouse Tampa poetry collective. An all around creative, she enjoys designing and sewing clothing for herself and others. Academically, she is pursuing her associate degree in human service and plans to continue her journey to become a licensed counselor. She plans on utilizing poetry in her therapeutic practice.
